Our EDAs in Québec

Electoral Constituency Associations (EDAs) located in Québec are duly formed, like those in the rest of Canada, according to the rules and protocols established by the Green Party of Canada. They adhere to the Party constitution and rules, as well as the six green values of the Green World Charter. In addition, they are regulated by federal electoral laws on political entities, governed by Elections Canada.

All GPC EDAs duly formed in Québec respecting the constitution and regulations of the AQPVC and the Party are members of the Quebec Wing. Each EDA in good standing with Elections Canada is represented by a delegate duly elected and/or mandated by the member EDA. In addition, the EDAs elect among themselves a member of the party in good standing, residing in Quebec, to represent a number of EDAs as a regional representative on the Administrative Council of the AQPVC.

Some are currently in “reorganization” mode to comply (with the rules of the party, the AQPVC and Elections Canada), and others are seeking the involvement of current and new members to become formalized EDAs. All of our EDAs invite those who share our values to join them!
